About Reitz Baseball Camp

Reitz Baseball Camp was founded in the summer of 2021 by Daniel Reitz. The first ever session was held on the campus of San Dieguito Academy High School, but quickly outgrew the space. 

Reitz’s Camp puts emphasis on individual techniques leveled for age and skill. Each camper can expect to receive high-level instruction from a knowledgeable coaching staff made up of former and current baseball players. The camp offers specific scenarios and drilling to ensure every camper has opportunity to fine-tune their baseball skills.

Aside from detailed instruction and baseball-specific development, Reitz Baseball Camp puts emphatic effort into helping players develop their character and interpersonal skills. Each child will be exposed to collaborative effort, discipline, sportsmanship, and service.

Played 2nd base and catcher collegiately at University of Hawaii at Hilo

Teaches English at SDA; Has coached youth and high school baseball for 15 years

Affectionately calls his family of five “Team Reitz”

Married to fellow teacher (Capri Elementary-Go Stingrays!)

Proud dad to three, Rowan (7), Rixon (5), and Raelyn (5)
